Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the brake pipe to the brake master cylinder.

    Tighten:  Tighten the brake pipe fitting 25 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the rear brake pipe.

    Tighten:  Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the right front brake pipe.

    Tighten:  Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the left front brake pipe.

    Tighten:  Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the EBCM to the vehicle. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement .
  9. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  10. Bleed the brake system. Refer to ABS Automated Bleed Procedure .
