Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the clamp securing the mass air flow (MAF) sensor to the air cleaner housing cover.
  2. Remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner housing and position the sensor aside.

  3. Remove the air cleaner housing mounting nut.

  4. Remove the air cleaner housing by pulling upward until the mounting studs are free from the housing grommets.
