Preliminary Procedures Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia/OUTLOOK with E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia/OUTLOOK without E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave with E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave without E61) . Remove the liftgate actuator (if equipped). Refer to Liftgate Actuator Replacement .
1	Communication Interface Module Bracket Procedure Disconnect the body harness from the bracket as required. Loosen the bracket fasteners to remove the bracket from the slotted holes. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2	Rear Object Alarm Module

Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia/OUTLOOK with E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia/OUTLOOK without E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave with E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave without E61) .
Remove the liftgate actuator (if equipped). Refer to Liftgate Actuator Replacement .

Procedure

Disconnect the body harness from the bracket as required.
Loosen the bracket fasteners to remove the bracket from the slotted holes.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
