Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (TP2 - Auxiliary Battery) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) .
  2. Fig 1: Fuel Injection Control Module

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the FICM (2), by sliding purple connector lock open (1).

  5. Remove the nuts (1) and spacers (2) attaching the FICM to the mounting bracket.

  7. Remove the bolts (1) attaching the FICM to the mounting bracket.
  8. Remove the FICM from vehicle.
