ACDelco dexos1 Synthetic Blend is recommended.
Failure to use the recommended engine oil or equivalent can result in engine damage not covered by the vehicle warranty. Check to be sure the oil is approved to the dexos1 specification.
For areas of extreme cold, where temperatures fall below -20Deg.F (-29Deg.C), it is recommended a SAE 5W-30 synthetic oil or a SAE 10W-30 oil. Both will provide easier cold starting and better protection for your engine at extremely low temperatures.
DO NOT use other viscosity grade oils such as SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, or 10W-50. |
