Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Diesel/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Remove Intake Manifold Cover - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
  2. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief 
  3. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement 
    4. Fig 1: Engine Control Module, Engine Wiring Harness Bracket And Bolt

  4. Remove Engine Control Module and Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1)
  5. Reposition Engine Control Module and Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (2)

  6. Remove Fuel Feed Front Pipe Retainer (1)
  7. Disconnect Fuel Feed Front Pipe (2)Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
