Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify the area in front of the B233RF Short Range Radar Sensor - Right Front is clean, unobstructed, and damage-free.
    • If not clean, unobstructed, and damage-free 

      Clear or repair as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If clean, unobstructed, and damage-free 
  2. Verify the B233RF Short Range Radar Sensor - Right Front is properly mounted and secured with no damage.
    • If not properly mounted and secured or damage is present 

      Repair or replace components as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If properly mounted and secured and no damage is present 
  3. Ignition ON.
  4. Clear DTCs.
  5. Driver the vehicle for 3 - 5 minutes at speeds greater than 9 km/h (6 mph) in normal traffic conditions.
  6. Verify the DTC B1B3A does not set.
    • If DTC B1B3A is set 

      Replace the B233RF Short Range Radar Sensor - Right Front.

    • Go to next step: If DTC B1B3A is not set 
  7. All OK. A fault is currently not present and may be an intermittent condition.
