Replace and Program Control Module

To program a replacement or an existing control module, perform the following procedure:
- Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Place Ignition in RAP mode. Refer to Retained Accessory Power Description and Operation
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K161 Vehicle Performance Data Recorder- Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
- At the end of programming, choose the "Clear All DTCs" function on the SPS screen.
- Calibrate Vehicle Processing Control Module. Refer to: Video Processing Control Module Calibration
NOTE:
To program the K161 Vehicle Performance Data Recorder, vehicle should be in Retained Accessory Power (RAP) mode.
