Removal Procedure

  1. Before removing the engine control module (ECM), record the oil life percentage remaining.
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    4. NOTE:

    Release the retaining tab to remove the engine control module from the engine control module bracket.
