Signal Circuit Inspection

IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Diagnosis" with GDS.
Measure the signal waveform between "LIN Communication" terminal of "DRIVER POWER OUTSIDE MIRROR_SMART CONNECTOR" harness connector and chassis ground.

Does the measured signal waveform follow the reference data?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- If the voltage of measured signal waveform is the battery voltage level (about 12V),
  → Check LIN line short to battery.
  
  → Check LIN line open/poor connection.
- If the voltage of measured signal waveform is the ground voltage level (about 0V), check LIN line short to ground.
