Monitoring DTC Status
- Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)".
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with GDS.
- Monitor the diagnostic trouble code and present of the trouble code.
- Erase the DTC and operate the vehicle within DTC Enable conditions in General Information.
- Is the DTC output again?
YES
- After checking installed option on the real vehicle firmly, perform "CLU Variant Coding" procedure in the "Vehicle Software Management"
with GDS.
→ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in PSB*'s connector or CLU*'s memory was not cleared after repair.
→ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage.
→ Repair or replace as necessary, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NOTE: PSB* : "PRE ACTIVE SEAT BELT UNIT" - After checking installed option on the real vehicle firmly, perform "CLU Variant Coding" procedure in the "Vehicle Software Management"
with GDS.
