Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. IG "ON" or ENG "ON"
  3. Check if the GDS displays a fault code.
  4. Using the GDS, check to see if there is any fault in the TCS System.

    If there is a fault in the TCS System, repair the System as necessary. Select the 4WD System and monitor the DTC.

  5. Is the same DTC displayed again?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and 4WD ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
