DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Voltage range check
  1. Short to battery in signal harness
  2. Open in signal or ground circuit
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty IAT sensor
Prerequisite condition
  • Ambient air temperature is higher than or equal to -30°C (-22°F).
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than or equal to -30°C (-22°F).
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • IAT sensor output voltage is higher than 4.93V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to battery power supply.

  • Continuously
