DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical check - check symptoms related to Lambda sensor open circuit
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Open in HO2S control circuit
  3. Front HO2S
Prerequisite Condition
  • Upstream O2 sensor operative readiness is detected.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Pumping current (VIP) circuit is open
  • Pump voltage (Vip) is 1.2V higher than virtual ground voltage (Vg) and Nernst voltage (Vn) is 1.2V lower than or equal to Vg.
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5 Seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
