Open Check
- Ignition switch is turned "OFF" and disconnect fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) connector.
- Ignition switch is turned "ON".
- Measure voltage between high/low terminal of fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: High - approx. 5V, Low - approx. 0V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open in fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) control circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
