DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Check Lambda signal amplitude - slow response
  1. Poor connection
  2. Faulty HO2S
  3. Faulty ECM
Prerequisite condition
  • Upstream O2 sensor operative readiness is detected (Sensor tip temperature is higher than 680°C (1256°F) or sensor heater maximum or normal heating for over 30 seconds)
  • O2 sensor forced stimulation is active.
  • P042000/P043000 (Catalyst Diagnosis) monitoring is active.
  • P013300 diagnosis is synchronized with P042000 monitoring.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Integral value (Lambda signal amplitude measured/Lambda signal amplitude of a slow sensor) is greater than 1
Diagnosis Time
  • 17 fuel trim controller cycles
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
