Check Rail Pressure Performance
- Ignition switch is turned "OFF".
- Start the engine.
- Monitor signal waveform of rail pressure sensor with accelerating and decelerating.
Specification: The rail pressure will be increased while accelerating the vehicle.
- Is the measured signal waveform normal?
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good rail pressure sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace rail pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
