DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Voltage range check
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short to ground in power/signal harness
  3. TPS
  4. ECM
Prerequisite condition
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON".
  • Engine is operating state at idle (Accelerator pedal is lower than 0.01%)
  • TPS set point is lower than 61.078 degree
  • TPS 1 versus TPS 2 ratio failure or TPS 1 failure is detected
Threshold Value
  • TPS_2 voltage is lower than 0.1V.
  • TPS_2 voltage at idle engine is lower than 2.0V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.05 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
