DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the message from HVAC
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty CAN communication line between ECM and HVAC
  3. Faulty HVAC
Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine is running with speed higher than 32 rpm.
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V.
  • Time elapsed after ignition switch ON is longer than 2.6 seconds.
Threshold Value
  • No message is came from HVAC (Ambient Air Temperature Sensor) during 500 msec.
Diagnosis Time
  • 1.5 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
