DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Check signal plausibility with lean mixture (during fuel cut-off)
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open in harness
  3. HO2S (B1/S2)
  4. ECM
Prerequisite condition
  • Downstream O2 Sensor operative readiness is detected.
  • Integrated mass air flow since last fuel cut-off is higher than 500g.
  • Integrated mass air flow since fuel cut-off begins is between 40g and 250g.
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor output voltage is higher than 0.2V.
Diagnosis Time
  • 5 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
