Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.CAUTION:
- Wait at least 30 seconds after separating the cable.
- Remove the driver airbag (DAB) module and clock spring.
(Refer to Restraint - "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING "
- Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")
- Remove the steering column shroud lower panel.
(Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")
- Disconnect the clock spring connector (A).
- Remove the clock spring from the steering column (A).
