Error Detection

  1. Error detection for tilt and telescope
    • SCM detects an error if the following conditions occur during reproduction, driver in/out operation, or operation by manual switch.
    • Error generation conditions
    • Tilt: Less than 4 pulses within 1 sec.
    • Telescope: Less than 4 pulses within 1 sec.
    • Error clear conditions
    • Tilt: Over 4 pulses within 1 sec.
    • Telescope: Over 4 pulses within 1 sec.
  2. Operation when an error is detected
    • Tilt & Telescope operation stops regardless if the operation was manual, reproduction or driver in/out operation.

But position operations other than that of the motor with an error are performed normally.

    • When the manual switch is switched from OFF to ON, the motor moves to the position intended by the driver even if an error has occurred.
    • If reproduction or driver in/out operation conditions are satisfied, then all the motors move to the target positions. But the motor with an error moves to the target position only after clearing the error.
