DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical Check
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Short to ground in VCM motor control circuit
  3. VCM
Prerequisite condition
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON".
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.
  • Engine is running with speed over 32 RPM.
Threshold value
  • VCM motor control circuit is shorted to ground.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.4 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
