DTC Strategy Case 1
  • ECM internal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty ECM
Case 2
  • ECM internal monitoring (checksum, communication between controllers)
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value Case 1
  • ECU internal controller RAM/ROM error (Checksum error) is detected
Case 2
  • ECU internal controller checksum error, error between main controller and monitoring unit is detected
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 0.1 second
Case 2
  • 0.04 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
