DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the fuel pressure sensor's power
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short in power circuit
  3. Faulty fuel pressure sensor
  4. Faulty fuel pump
Enable Condition
  • Engine running status
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Target fuel pressure is between 250 and 600 kPa
Threshold Value
  • The power voltage of fuel pressure sensor is less than 4.5V
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • No MIL on (DTC only)
