DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short to ground in power supply circuit
  3. Open or short to ground in signal circuit
  4. Faulty APS
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • APS2 voltage lower than 0.12V
  • Short circuit to ground or open
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
