Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty LIN communication line between ECM and alternator
  3. Faulty alternator
  4. Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is more than 10V
  • Delay time after ignition switch on is more than 1 second
Threshold Value
  • Duration of communication lost with alternator is more than 2 seconds
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
