DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Internal Monitoring
  1. Poor Connection/Circuit Fault
  2. Fuse/Power Circuit
  3. Incorrect ROM Data
  4. Faulty TCM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage is above 10V
Threshold Value
  • Checksum error or TCM fault
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
Fail Safe
  • Locked into 5th gear
  • Teaching/Adaptive Learning is not allowed
