DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to ground in FPCV circuit
  3. Faulty FPCV
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground in FPCV circuit (Low-side output voltage less than 2.2 - 2.4V or High-side output current more than 13.9-16.5A)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
