Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality Check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty EWGA circuit
  3. Faulty EWGA
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is over 9V
  • West Gate Actuator (EWGA) target value is less than 30%
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Valve closed position adaptive voltage more than 3.3V or less than 0.4V
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
