DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Fuel level sender stuck
  3. Faulty fuel level sender circuit
  4. Faulty fuel level sender
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Cumulated fuel consumption (normal case) is greater than 20 liter
Threshold Value
  • If the fuel level signal change calculated after 20 liters of fuel consumption is less than 4.3%
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 to 25 liters fuel consumption
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
