Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. IG "OFF" & Disconnect TCM connector.
  2. Measure voltage between pin No. 4 (or pin No. 5 & pin No. 6) ground terminal of TCM harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Below 1Ω

  3. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or TCM's connector or was repaired and TCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
