DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short to battery in signal harness
  3. Open in ground harness
  4. Faulty EOTS
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Engine coolant temperature (ECT) is greater than -30°C (-22°F) or time after engine start is more than 300s
Threshold Value
  • EOTS voltage is higher than 4.96V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
