IAU & BLE module

IAU (Identity Authentication Unit):

With a smart phone or NFC card key, the digital key system locks and unlocks the vehicle's doors and turns the ignition switch ON. Once a customer registers his smartphone or NFC card key to the car, he can enter and start the car with his smartphone or NFC card key without carrying the smart key. The NFC antenna, installed in the outside door handles, locks and unlocks the doors and the wireless charger, integrated with the NFC antenna inside, verifies the signals to turn the vehicle ON. The car also has the BLE module which is different from the IAU. It is located near the IAU. The BLE communicates with a smartphone and provides RKE functions (Lock/Unlock, Trunk, and Panic), that are offered by the conventional smart key. The IAU receives analyzes the encrypted digital key values from the smartphone and transmits the authentication results to the IBU. For better IAU-IBU communication security, the IAU-IBU learning should be done with the GDS.
