Fuel Injector
Injector is the gadget to control the fuel injection electronically. It is the solenoid valve that jets out precisely calculated spraying fuel into the engine.
ECM controls operating time of the injector reflecting air-fuel ratio of inhale air flow and exhaustion to enhance fuel consumption, engine performance, and lower gaseous emission and ECM controls the spraying amount to satisfy the air-fuel ratio that required by the engine control system as well.
ECM controls GDI/MPI single injection, GDI + MPI multiple injection, and GDI ↔ MPI converting injection depends on the amount of inhale air flow.
