Component Inspection

  1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor contact of harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference by other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
  2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
  3. Any change in the value indicates poor contact of components. Was the connector a problem?

    YES 

    • Repair or replace relevant component(s) as necessary.

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps. If problem still occurs, replace the engine ECU.
