Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor
The automatic transmission fluid temperature sensor is installed on the valve body. This sensor uses the thermistor that resistance changes according to the temperature change.
When TCM supplies approximately 3.3V power to the sensor, the sensor output changes according to the temperature change of ATF.
This automatic transmission fluid temperature is a very important element in the automatic transmission and it is entered to PCM, and this fluid temperature sensor information is used for various important purposes such as the operation of damper clutch, detection of non-operation area, fluid temperature variation control and fluid pressure control at the time of shifting.
