Repair Procedures: Replacement

NOTE:
  • Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.
  • Take care not to scratch the body surface.
  1. Remove the liftgate lower trim.

    (Refer to Liftgate - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")

  2. Press the lock pin and separate the rear combination lamp connector (A).

  3. Press the lock pin and separate the rear view camera connector (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the liftgate back panel (A).

  5. To install, reverse removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the liftgate locks and opens properly and locks securely.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
