Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.

    Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

  3. Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from front hub.

    Tightening torque: 

    137.3 - 156.9 N.m (14.0 - 16.0 kgf.m, 101.3 - 115.7 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • Safely remove the wheel and tire (A) using the guide bolt included in the Tire Mobility Kit (TMK).

    • Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel and tire (A).

  4. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor connector (A).

  5. Loosen the bolt (A) and then remove the front wheel speed sensor cable bracket.

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)

  6. Loosen the bolt (A) and then remove the front wheel speed sensor.

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)
