Repair Procedures: Inspection
- Check the engine oil quality.
Check the engine oil for discoloration, water intrusion, viscosity drop, etc. If the oil quality is noticeably poor, change oil.
- Check the engine oil level. Warm up and stop the engine, and then wait for 10 minutes before checking whether the oil level is between the "F" and "L" marks in the dipstick. If the level is lower than "L", check for leakage and add oil up to the "F" mark.
NOTE:
- Do not fill engine oil above the "F" mark.
