Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the engine room side cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")
- Remove the front bumper upper cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")
- Disconnect the ECM connector (A).
- Disconnect the TCM connector (B).
- After removing the ECM bracket installation bolts & nuts (A), remove the ECM bracket assembly.
Tightening torque:
8.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.2 kgf.m, 6.5 - 8.6 lb-ft)
- After removing the installation bolts (A), remove the ECM from the bracket.
Tightening torque:
8.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.2 kgf.m, 6.5 - 8.6 lb-ft)
