Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
    WARNING:
    • Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
  2. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Pull up the lock of the SRSCM connector to disconnect the connector.

  4. Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the SRSCM (A).

    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the SRSCM connector.
