Control Circuit Inspection

  1. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnected the ECM connector.
  3. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  4. Measure voltage between ignition switch terminal of ECM harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Battery Voltage

  5. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
