Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the propeller shaft.
(Refer to Driveshaft and axle - "PROPELLER SHAFT ")
- Remove the transmission bracket (C) after loosening the mounting bolts (A, B).

NOTE:- Support the transmission valve body cover lower part with a jack.
- Disconnect the parking switch connector (A).
- Separate the parking release cable (A) after loosening the fastener.
- Remove the parking switch after loosening the mounting nut (A) and bolts (B).
