Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to ground or open in fuel level sender signal circuit
  3. Faulty fuel level sender
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Fuel tank level signal voltage lower than 0.22V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
