Engine & Transmission Assembly: Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.
When the installation is complete, perform the following tasks.
- Check the engine oil level.
  (Refer to Lubrication System - "ENGINE OIL ")
- Check the transmission oil level.
  (Refer to Automatic Transmission System (SBW) - "FLUID ")
- Fill the engine coolant and water cooled intercooler coolant.
  (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
  
  (Refer to Cooling System - "WATER COOLED INTERCOOLER COOLANT ")
- Inspect for fuel leakage.
  - After assemble the fuel line, turn on the ignition switch (do not operate the starter) so that the fuel pump runs for approximately two seconds and fuel line pressurizes.
  - Repeat this operation two or three times, then check for fuel leakage at any point in the fuel line.
    Place a heater control knob on "HOT" position.
- Clean the battery terminals and cable terminals with sandpaper, assemble them, and apply grease to prevent corrosion.
