Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the diagnostic tool when replacing with a new TCM.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  3. Remove the engine room cover (A).

  4. Disconnect the ECM connector (A) and TCM connector (B).

  5. Remove the TCM & ECM (A) after loosening the mounting nuts and bolt.

  6. Remove the TCM (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
