Repair Procedures: Installation
- Lightly tighten the inhibitor switch mounting nut (A) and bolts (B).
- Insert the special service tool (SST No.: 09480-D2100) to the parking switch and parking switch lever "P" position hole.
- Tighten mounting bolts (B) to the specified torque after tightening the parking switch mounting nut (A).
Tightening torque:
- 16.7-25.5 N.m (1.7 ~ 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb-ft)
- 9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the special service tool (SST No.: 09480-D2100).
- Tighten the screw after installing parking release cable (A) to the parking switch.
- Connect the parking switch connector (A).
- Tighten the mounting bolts (A, B) after installing the transmission bracket (C).
Tightening torque:
- 42.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.3 - 5.5 kgf.m, 31.1 - 39.8 lb-ft)
- 39.2 - 46.1 N.m (4.0 - 4.7 kgf.m, 28.9 - 34.0 lb-ft)

- Install the rear propeller shaft.
(Refer to Driveshaft and axle - "PROPELLER SHAFT ")
- Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
