Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the diagnostic tool when replacing with a new TCM.

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the engine room side cover (A).

Remove the front bumper cover (A).

Loosen the bolts and then removing the strut bar (A)[LH].

Disconnect the TCM connector (A) and the ECM connector (B).

Loosen the nut and then separate the wire (A).

Loosen the bolts and the nuts and then removing the ECM & TCM bracket (A).
Tightening torque:

8.83 - 11.8 N.m (0.9 - 1.2 kgf.m, 6.51 - 8.68 lb-ft)
