Repair Procedures: Removal
- Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the diagnostic tool when replacing with a new TCM.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the engine room cover (A).
- Loosen the bolts and then removing the strut bar (A)[LH].
- Disconnect the TCM connector (A) and the ECM connector (B).
- Loosen the bolts and the nuts and then removing the ECM & TCM bracket (A).
Tightening torque:
8.83 - 11.8 N.m (0.9 - 1.2 kgf.m, 6.51 - 8.68 lb-ft)
- Loosen the nuts and then removing the ECM (A).
Tightening torque:
8.83 - 11.8 N.m (0.9 - 1.2 kgf.m, 6.51 - 8.68 lb-ft)
- Loosen the nuts and then removing the TCM (A).
